**Given:**

The speed of man = 10 km/h

Concept used:

In relative motion, If two objects are coming to each other from opposite directions, then relative speed becomes the sum of their speed.

Formula used:

Time = Distance/Speed

**Calculation:**

Let the time taken by the train be x sec.

According to the concept,

Relative speed = (50 + 10) km/h

⇒ 60 × (5/18) m/sec

⇒ (50/3) m/sec

According to the question,

x = 500/(50/3) sec

⇒ 500 × (3/50) = 30 sec

**∴ The time taken by the train to cross the man is 30sec.**
